Just thought I'd start a wee Morton thread, seeing as there are already threads for other Scottish teams.

Won 2-0 today against Cowdenbeath.

Played really well today, especially Imrie, Fred, Hands, McLaughlin and Habai, the Slovakian defender.

Top of the league tonight, just hope that continues for the rest of the season...doubt it thought.

Onwards and upwards for the 'Ton, Falkirk away next week, a game I can actually walk to from my house.

Lost 3-1 at Falkirk today.

Never really got out of 1st gear TBH and Falkirk deserved their victory.

Disappointed with the injury to Joe McKee, looks like either a broken ankle or ligament damage.

On to Dumbarton next Saturday and hoping for a better performance than today.

Well, Jeezuz, looks like it's gonnae be a long hard season.

Lost 3-1 away to Dumbarton today.

We were poor from the start and lost a goal from a defensive f'ck up in 18 mins, however, we equalised 1 min later from a Dougie Imrie pen.

We never really created anything after that and Dumbarton capitalised on another 2 defensive errors.

Back to Greenock next week and hopefully we'll bring a striker in as big Cham looks ****e.

Morton 4-0 Montrose.

Comfortable win over lower league opposition in the League Cup with goals from Cham (at last), Fitzpatrick, Hands & Fulton.

Hopefully the draw on Thursday will be kind to us.

Just been drawn away to Celtic in the League Cup. We'll almost certainly get gubbed, however, our share of the gate money should enable the manager to bring another couple of players in to strengthen the squad.

1-1 draw with Raith Rovers today.

Went 1-0 up with an excellently executed Imrie penalty and totally dominated the game for the first hour. Unfortunately, we let Raith back into the game and lost a badly defended goal (again) to a well taken header.

Thankfully we've no game next Saturday, as Scotland will be losing to Belgium on Friday with Mirallas and Fellaini almost certainly staring against us. :(

How good is Craig Reid? heard Kilmarnock have offered him a contract after he impressed on trial.

He's an excellent player mate, certainly at Championship level anyway, and I was disappointed that we never offered him the new contract he deserved after his performances last season.

Livingston 2-2 Morton. Better performance from the team yesterday, but ultimately 2 points dropped against one of the poorer teams I've seen this season.

Went 2 goals down within the first 15 mins, but rallied round and were level by half-time. Almost completely dominated the second half and even hit the post and side netting, but that winning goal just wouldn't come.

We really need to be winning this sort of game or we are gonnae find ourselves caught up in the relegation battle and with the prospect of having Rangers and possibly Hearts or St. Mirren in the league next season, we can't afford to drop down a division.

I think you've spelt "Kilmarnock" wrong.
