Very good player, as is Duffy. Personally, I think Sylvain easily has another season at least - fittest, strongest, fastest of the four CB's we have.

What is this based on though? Games in the reserves/under 21? The few games he played last season (maybe even the season before, my memory fails me)

Hes a prospect and would be put in the first team in an emergency. No idea where this love-in for him has come from. We had the same on here for Barkley last year and early this, people have seen him play and realise he needs ALOT of work before hes the starlet we all hope he will be.

Difference is you can blood Barkley for a game or two on the wing, how do people propose we do that with Duffy at CB. Even in the cups we play our best teams as we are desperate for a Cup win.
