Whatever that job is I don't want it- the man is hardly a footballer.
I remember reading somewhere that his defensive stats are abysmal aside for one significant stat which is winning aerial duels where he's best in the league.
One trick pony who does a specific job- clearing away balls with his head

Just remind me how many we concede from crosses and set-pieces? For a few years until Moyes feels Duffy's ready he's a good, probably cheap, option who's full of commitment!

If you read the papers you,d think that good CH,,s were as rare as rocking horse stuff. I ,m not convinced by lescott he can go missing sometimes and he lacks pace for me.

We should go out and look for youg upcoming CH,s in the global market.

Oh yes I assure you, its an attribute of any incoming defender that I feel is of vital importance, but not at the expense of basic footballing ability.
I feel Duffy is our man. Scores goals. Big and imposing. Fast as a truck. Drinks like a champion. Whether next season or the following one (after a year on loan playing first team football) he looks like he'll be a decent enough player.

Mate, Duffy's not quick at all. He's good in the air though. He could probably pick a lot up from the likes of Jags and Caldwell.

Champions don't drink these days either. Moyes will have that noted.

I know. I thought 'fast as a truck' implied as much. Are trucks fast? Fast as a tractor maybe?
