I think it’s a clear indication that with Rondon now likely to be out for a few games -benitez sees tosun as the next cab off the rank and wanted to get him some minutes…?

At least Tosun tried to make runs in between defenders last night, Rondon just stands there with no striking mentality at all. Richy up top on his own is a total waste of his talents as we have now come to realise he can’t play that role, put Tosun next to him up top is much better than Rondon.

That is part of the underlying problem with Bentiez, likes to stick so called old experienced players, doe not give young players a decent chance. But they can be the future of the club as well as new signings.

Rondon had his best performance last night, even if it's ridiculous that he's still here starting matches
But incredible that he chose to bring on Tosun instead of absolutely anyone else available

yup, made at least an impact in that 5 min. Tosun and Simms only from now on till January. If we need someone alongside Richy.

Was that when doucs had richie and Gordon to the left, beyond the full back, tosun making an angled run behind the last defender, and he passed it straight to the defender?
