Delph is or never started as fullback.....in fact the best back passer of the ball in our team ........you can play him there at your risk ......

Couldn't believe my eyes when I seen him coming on, I'd looked at the subs aswell and just didn't notice him, so was very suprised. Didn't notice him on the pitch either tbh

Surely gone in January we are just showing he can play .... No forward in that team gets any support MOTD 2 pointed The distance our players stayed away from DCL after he had won the ball back to goal ........so really Tuson the plodder made little difference........one pass to Iwobi is not an assist for DCLs goal .....he got booked though Tosun so maybe showed a bit of passion.......for me send a yonger faster match fit player on ...

In the January transfer deadline day back to Turkey - or he becomes a remarkable player for us we shall see. - my odds are he's being put in the shop window ......

Difficult to have any ill will towards him. Unlike some he’s always looked like he’s tried whenever he’s been on the pitch for us. Fell behind DCL in the pecking order under Silva then had a horrific injury. Good to see him back fit.

Personally Im glad he is back and that may have been in the calculation of loaning Moise Kean. He may not be the prolific goalscorer he was touted to be by BFS (shudders!), but someone has got to be able to spell DCL occasionally. the lad has played a lot of games this season and wont get the international breaks off even.
