If Bernard is as good as Richarlison + the right side sees an improvement on Walcott then there could be a very exciting + rapid front 4 creating chances with ease.

Sigurdsson is like marmite really.

He seems to have a big following on here and also those who think hes useless.

I think he is a good player but just not suited to a fast counter attacking side.

Agree with this. Tosun as an experienced international striker has to be hitting decent numbers or getting into the right positions.

In a quick team he lacks pace.

If DCL is the one scoring he has to be the one starting...has a higher ceiling and we arent getting top 4 this season so...why persist with Tosun?

Midfield and the right side will be the focus i think.

I can see Moshiri loosening the purse strings if our permanent signings perform well...

Or we may see DCL + Richarlison perform up front as centre forward.

Certainly think we need a super player there who can win games for us on his own.

I think Jan will be when we have a clearing of the decks to desperate sides and pinpoint some South Americans to join.

Apparently he wasnt great at Besiktas but worked very hard to improve and became first choice...interesting to see if he can do the same with us.

Hes our player now. Is he currently good enough to be a top 4 forward? Thats the only question which needs to be asked in the mid-long term.

But Lukaku also had bags of pace so we could have played a different way.

I think thats about right. I hope DCL slots against west ham...sees him on 4 for the season already.

..I think his position is one we need to improve on if we are truly to progress as a football team. At the moment, I can see arguments for playing DCL ahead of Tosun but going forward we need better.

2 extremely average strikers. Nowhere near as good as Lukaku was. So I'm not interested. Rashford in particular, is proper rubbish. DCL is probably as good a prospect down the line.

Great goalscorer. It's not always just about that though hence only dropping one place without him whilst having an awful season.
