Having good link-up and hold-up play without goals won't cut the mustard.

It's a painful lesson the last of us are now finally learning. We'll continue to be let down until we buy someone who can actually slot. Forget everything else. We need a goalscorer.

Tosun is still Everton's best striker, and he will score/contribute to lot more goals in the weeks to come.

such as non-scorer, non-creative Midfielders.

confidence is a strange thing , cenk will produce i have no fear about that, look at keane he looks like a proper defender now after being a complete basket case for a year.

I wish I had your confidence, whoever the scout was who brought him to our attention, he wants sacking ( kindest word I could think of) I just hope the fact he is loved in Turkey gives us our way out, he won't be here long if Brand is as
knowledgable as I think he is, an absolutely useless poser, quicker he goes the better.

Thanks for that maccavnnie, if Walsh was involved I can understand how we ended up with another dud, I would have hoped Moshiri had a lot more sense than Walsh, and knew a bit more about football than Walsh, everybody else does. !!!!

I still say Niasse is a far better option than Tosun, at this point in time !!

he's not like is he, tosun was terrible Sunday but niasse wasn't much better when he come on and he missed an absolute sitter as well

Apparently they went to watch a CL game against Monaco and he played well.
