If we were able to get another quality striker alongside him, who offered a different style (more agile and pacey etc.), it'd be a nice a combination.

I would be quite content to start the new season with Tosun, player-X, Niasse and DCL as I feel our real deficiencies are in other positions.

For me DCL shouldn't be anywhere near the team tbh . Niasse also although as a sub I could live with him. Ideally we would have player x and then another player to come in . A lot depends on who's manager and if we are going to play lone striker (which I don't like and don't believe touson is suited too)

He's not the fastest thing on two legs but he has a great attitude.

If he got chances like he would at a more attacking team he would be bagging plenty

The lad is a natural slotter. Give him the ball in decent positions and he will hit the back of the net.......

Obviously it's not the ideal situation or line up as like yourself I do have my reservations about both players - more so Calvert-Lewin to be fair.

Yet, my point was more that it's arguably a reasonable line up (could be much better) when there's other areas that need to be the priority.

Niasse is a reasonable substitute who offers something different, be that his tenacity or awkwardness, alongside a good to okay return of goals.

The jury is still out over DCL and there's lots of questions whether he'll make it; I myself wouldn't by any stretch be starting him regularly.

However, I do feel that he does get some over-zealous criticism - that's not aimed at you - when you consider the position he's been put in.

he's not shown much other than the finishes...a bit like jelavic.

But to be fair he hasn't had much opportunity to do much else...

if harry kane leaves spurs in the summer to go to madrid do you think we will be able to keep tosun if spurs decide they want him to replace kane?

With better service, he'd be scoring a lot more and there would be no doubts about him. Hopefully if/when the new manager comes in, we will see him become a very important player for us. Or if Allardyce stays, hopefully he will improve the first 11 so that Tosun actually gets numerous chances a game and not just 1 or 2 maximum like at the moment.

Come on. There is anplayer who can score from neverland and you still discuss. And you still talk about niasse. I advice to check the statistics of game/goals(with adaptaion of new league). First criticize your team not cenk. He is most valıable player for your for this season.
