There are few of them here, this guy you are arguing, kev the rat and one more I forgot. They just hate for the sake of hating. If you try to fight them you will exhaust yourself. Don't give a flying f*** about it, is my advice. Use the ignore function if seeing makes you upset. Majority of Evertonians absolutely in love with the lad, they sing for him, they prepare banners and what not. He is loved at Goodison. Same goes to this forum. And that is what really matters. They just enjoy getting a reaction from the Turks, they don't even care about how Cenk plays. Even if Cenk scored 10 goals in a single game, they would come arguing "but he missed that 11th goal, what an utter garbage". Kev even takes it to a mom joke level to trigger a worse response. Weird way of having fun but he is who he is.

Just go along with them and accept that Cenk is no footballer at all for a while and they roll back to silence.

Although it was a decent finish I thought their keeper was poor for his goal today, it was an accurate but pretty weak shot. I'd be disappointed if we'd have conceded that.

Nobody expected a shot from such angle with 2 players around him, including the keeper. I for one was expecting a cross to far post.

His goals doesnt surprise me because this is what Cenk has always been good at- great off the ball ability- he will always make the correct runs and position himself expertly for a pass.
His other ability? well, finishing.

I said this day 1, his finishing ability is comparable to players at the highest level.
Service him well, and he’ll score at least 20 next season and then you’ll sell him for double the amount and financially profit from him too.

This goal today looks like the goalkeeper’s fault but actually its Cenk that made it look that way.
Only players like Salah, Aguero etc would dare to try such an unexpected shoot from that angle.
However, he does too without any hesitation.. and thats because he knows his strengths very well.

He didn't take it badly when he was taken out of the side when he first came, and he seems to be focused on hitting the target when he gets a chance but also works hard hassling defenders and trying to bring other players into the game, particularly Walcott. I think besides the goals his attitude and temperament have been impressive so far.
