Solid penalty taker, missed only one during a cup game shootout. He basically delays his shot to see where the keeper is moving by skipping a step, a little bit like Demba Ba.

..I see where you are coming from but Lukaku is a top drawer finisher and has real pace and power. £20m is more realistic, but I have to say there are a few that I would love us to get our money back on and start again in the summer.

..yep, he looks decent in the box but he does some very basic things poorly. Back to goal play that isn’t difficult he often makes a pigs ear of. £27m, i’m not convinced. I want him to be neat and tidy but he’s not. Saying that, he looks like he’ll bury a chance.

Not gonna write certain parts of his game off just yet myself mate, think we are very dysfunctional still, and he's had the pressure well and truly stuck on him to instantly succeed given any chance which won't help.

For me anyway, the lad cans trike a ball, seems to have the ability not many do of finding himself in space and making the right types of runs, and whilst his first touch etc may not be looking brilliant just yet, one thing to note is that he seems to be at least attempting to do the right things in the right situations.

In a way i'd rather in a faster paced league he initially looks a little bit rushed doing stuff, than someone who thinks he still has all the time in the world (as they are the ones you normally see bombs out like Jansen at spurs)

I usually agree with you on most things Eggs but to me that's a bit of a mad shout. We haven't had a striker as comfortable with the ball as he is for a while..

..he does some things really poorly. It might just be that he’s settling in because the clips from Turkey indicated he was technically efficient but a couple of incidents today made me despair. He buried his chance, though.
