Feels like m such a long time since we had someone who can score inside the box

To be fair though mate, his goal basically came from a one two.

One thing I like about him a lot us he has the ability you don't see often and never in crap players if just finding s way to drift into space - take lukaku for example he never had that otherwise he'd be some very special player.

jelavic likes this...

..yep, he looks decent in the box but he does some very basic things poorly. Back to goal play that isn’t difficult he often makes a pigs ear of. £27m, i’m not convinced. I want him to be neat and tidy but he’s not. Saying that, he looks like he’ll bury a chance.
Are you sure about that mate?

I usually agree with you on most things Eggs but to me that's a bit of a mad shout. We haven't had a striker as comfortable with the ball as he is for a while..

Tbf the way prices are now 27m is equivalent to 12m 4 seasons ago

Tosun showed power and precision in another excellent finish and it's a shame Rooney's ego denied him a confidence boosting second from the spot but in a totally Everton dominated first half hour he lacked impact for me.
Looks like we've found a top finisher who lacks work rate and technical ability similar to Lukaku but without his pace or power. That's certainly enough to improve the team so he may turn out value for the fee we paid after all.

Sorry, but he wasn`t very good before his injury and he`s even worse now.

Possibly an even worse piece of business than Siggy.
With hindsight, I genuinely don't believe that Gylfi's signature was actually a bad piece of business. Did we over pay for him? Well clearly yes.

The whole transfer saga was a shambles too, which meant he wasn't prepared for the season; nevertheless, he's easily one of our best players.

Don't forget he's also a natural footballer to boot so with a better a manager, actual tactics and improved confidence he'll shine for us.

But back on track with Tosun - £27m seems a fairly decent bit of business up to now when you compare it with the likes of Bolaise et al.

Sounds like Lukaku there mate.
As long as he keeps slotting he'll do for me.

Btw £19.9 mil in total confirmed by Besiktas chairman.

lacks work rate? pretty sure i saw him chase down the keeper and last defender plenty today, and he's technically streets ahead of oumar
