I know and in fairness there is an argument that our defense isn't good enough to commit men forward but that's not a reason to give up on a player. Its a reason to fix the defense.

Five of them not leaving the defense was already not good enough to stop Arsenal so they might want to try something useful and support attack so that guys ahead of the field will have more alternatives to pass and not lose the ball easily, maybe even score some goals.

Not sustaining ball possession is one of the reasons that Everton defense looks this bad. Turning the game into a ping pong match where every ball you throw forward hits a wall and turns back on you will surely bite you in the ass some time later.

Apparently Man City concede the fewest number of shots in the league. I know it can be taken too far like it was under Martinez but I hate watching us setup so defensive against the minnows of the league.

Imagine Walcott playing with a RB who can make deep runs and open up some space for him. Nuts.

The more that Allardyce talks about Tosun like this, the more I'm convinced Moshiri bought him over the manager/DOF's head. Just don't see a manager belittling his own signing after only a month, certainly not when they cost this much anyway.

What's he said now?

Under pressure from the pressies as to why he has not played Tosun, he claimed that any PL manager will confirm that 50% of players signed from abroad do not "hit the ground running", and need time to adjust to the pace of our game, the new culture, a new home, maybe a new language, new teammates etc. They may need several months, so for example Tosun signed in January does not have that much time left this season to adjust, hence his not being picked. Allardyce said in a previous interview Tosun's time should come from next August. That is what the man is saying.Who am I to argue?

The coldest for 5 years, coming down from Siberia. It is 1 or 2 degrees today. Not to Cenk's liking I think, not that he will be playing anyway.
During the summer months, air temperature can go up to 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), highest recorded temperature in Istanbul was 45 degrees (113 Fahrenheit). During winter months, the temperature is around 10 degrees (50 Fahrenheit) with much colder nights, lowest recorded temperature was -15 degrees (5 Fahrenheit). We occasionally get some snow.;)
