Seen the Sandro and the Schneiderlin threads mate?

For Schneiderlin you have right to complain - he got enough chances to prove what he is worthy of. And for Sandro, he is still young (22, isn't he?) and has potential to improve at loan so it is understandable.

But Cenk neither had chance as Scheniderlin nor he is young to be given to loan as Sandro.

I think you perhaps misunderstand he psyche of a lot of Evertonians. We literally hate our own players. Maybe not all of them all of the time but by and large each player will be roundly detested by a significant portion of the fan base. Even our own youth products. Barkley, Tom Davies, Rooney (technically he was a youth product) Calvert-Lewin etc.

See it as Tosun fitting right in. There's no need to Martyr him. Honestly. Check out the utter dismay when we signed Martina from Southampton and Williams and Gylfi from Swansea. Our own league. Everyone's rubbish, we like no one. Don't flatter yourself. Turks aren't rubbish enough to stand out as particularly awful. Feel better now?

Anyway, I studied for my PhD in London for 4 years, and I call myself socialist and internationalist. As you said, we shall just carry on.

Haha, such a hubris. I studied at UCL and for 4 full-years and published papers at Nature etc. Been studying at John Hopkins since then.

To be frank, I had (almost) never been subject to orientalism while I was at London; I don't know - maybe it was because most of the pubs I had been were lefty ones.

But when people talk on forums; they say things they won't/can't say you face to face. So may I be othering you? Possible, at least unconciously. But I am pretty sure Cenk won't be judged this harsh if he was Spanish or French.

Ps I don't really have a PhD. But what an utterly daft thing to silly wave about on a football forum.

Then you forgot what is to be fan of a team (I am aware this statement is quite arrogant).I am supporting Cenk not because of I am Turk (for god's sake I am Lazuri which is a minority at Turkey) but he is an ex-Besiktas player. For the same reason, I support Everton. You may think these two things may not converge but (at least for now) they do.

When you look at squads, there is no reason why Everton cannot be fifth. I think the problem is about Sam.

And you should know Cenk is a winner, he won Championship when Besiktas was not allowed to make transfers because of financial fair-play; he and his mates won the title against all odds.

Believe in him and his personality, if not; send him back mate. Just don't write his name in the same sentence with Martina; it is a major insult.

Yes, exactly. Because for me, football is not a hobby or so; it is life. Who said one can't be a neuroscientist and also a fan.

Genuine question, if we sold Tosun in the summer, will you be following Everton next season?

I only ask because you signed up last month, you've posted 62 times. 95% of those posts have been in the Cenk Tosun thread. The other 5% are in the Niasse thread (and basically say Niasse is crap compared with Cenk Tosun).
