Tough. I know how much he cares about his family, especially his dad. Still he was wrong IMO, they may attack or insult your dad but still there is a reason you earn millions and the 'fans' pay to watch you there, so there should be a difference between these parties.

LOL he is not a good friend with erdogan, he has a very secular life, it is just Erdogan requested a meeting with Turkish origin players in London, and he attended it together with Mesut Özil and İlkay Gündoğan. He can't reject it, even though (and I do as well) many see him as a dictator, there are some normal life stuff you should follow. He just attended out of courtesy. It doesnt make him pro Erdogan, as someone who knows him and his family, I can confirm he is cyrstal clear secular guy, definitely a dissenter to the current govt. Stop spreading disgusting lies.

yeah, that's what made me worried. Even though it is normal to react seeing your dad attacked, he should have kept his cool and not throw a tantrum, I hope FIFA dont punish him with extended ban. Anybody knows if bans from friendly matches can be used for regular ones?
