Nah he seems to of actually come in struggled and put every effort in to make it work. The boy is doing well and I’m sure he will continue tooNice to see a signing finally start to click into place. The cynic in me worries this might be his Jelavic phase but if he slots the winner in the Derby then who cares.
Walcott and Coleman on the right and baines wonderful left foot on the left should see to thatHe knows how to finish. Our biggest concern should be making sure we create enough chances for him.
I'm a big fan of Keane's tender cuddle there.Love me a good Everton orgy.
Pipe dream but Iklay would be sweetTranslation from Cenk Tosun's interview in Turkish sports paper Fanatik:
────────
“Pep is my neighbor we live in the same apartment building but I hardly ever see him,” Tosun told the Fanatik newspaper. “He is out at 6am and does not return until late at night. The man is a workaholic.”
Tosun joked: “He may keep a close eye on me before the Manchester City game, he has a real attention to detail.”
The striker also revealed that Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane also live in the same block.
“Ilkay and Leroy also live in the same block, I am close friends with Ilkay we always meet up,” he added.
“I like it here but I am looking for a house with my wife.”
Gundogan and Tosun were both born in Germany and both are ethnic Turks.
"Wife cooks Turkish food at home. We also eat good stuff at club facilities, coach Sam Alderdyce has brought the Chef from his former club, it's good stuff. I haven't had a chance to sample typical English food yet but I hope I'll like them too".
"They drive on the left here, I struggled at first and took me about 2 weeks but then I adapted. There's always overcast weather here, English people yearn for the sun".
"When they see the sun at 10 degrees, some people walk around wearing shorts, t-shirts, sandals. Some people stretch their arms out of the window. I like cold, I'm used to it from Germany, I don't mind it".
"The day I met our fans at Everton was very special, it felt good. But the moment I scored at Goodison Park, I got goosebumps. The match against Brighton-Hove Albion will always be special for me. In addition I love it when they sing my name in the stands."
"I speak with (Turkey coach) Mircea Lucescu every other week. He wants more of Turkey's players to play in European leagues. When I got the offer (from Everton) I told him and he told me to accept it. From the national team's point of view, about 10 of our players now play in top leagues, this number can increase".
Sam Allardyce also wanted me when he was Crystal Palace manager. But they'd offered Beşiktaş a payment plan and Beşiktaş rejected so that transfer didn't happen at that time. Now we are in Everton and he trusts me very much, and I do everything I can. I'm trying to pay back the trust by scoring goals".

Perhaps a bit too soon all this talk...
Sure he'll get injured before the Derby as is traditionalNice to see a signing finally start to click into place. The cynic in me worries this might be his Jelavic phase but if he slots the winner in the Derby then who cares.
No, all this talk is Tosun
Wonder how big the members of GoT swelled after he signed.
