He's a good player, just needs a bit of service and some time to build some chemistry. I'd love to have Rooney, Siggy, Bolaisse, Walcott, and Tosun on the pitch at the same time, but we don't have the defenders to do it. Rooney would be a great sub if we had a better midfielder to play with Gana that can get that front 4 the ball, but Sam won't even play the ones we have - Davies, Klaassen - so not going to happen.

Too early to judge but was disappointed with him in the air, he didn’t win anything. He looked good in the air against Spurs but nothing yesterday. Niasse came on and looked a lot better at winning headers and I’ve never noticed Niasse winning them before.

I don't feel sorry for him at all.

A quick google search and he could of found out we are crap right now and haven't won a bean in years.

He obviously didn't move for footballing reasons because he has been winning titles and playing in the biggest competition going.

He has moved to increase is wages and will be on a crap tonne of money.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the highlights but when I was at the game it looked like Walcott put in an absolute beauty of a cross at 0-0 but he was on his heels in the box and didn't get near it. Was that the case it or was it one of those deceptive angles at the game?

..there’s a stereotypical view of Allardyce’s tactics but he’s primarily been involved in keeping teams who are desperately struggling in the league. He’s been a miracle worker so far with this group of players and says the right things about making us more expansive. Only time will tell if he can make that happen but I believe it’s something he wants to do.
