Cenk Tosun is not worth £25m + £125k a week.

For the £55m we are spending on him we could buy a club (all players + ground).

We should spend money more sensibly as this will allow us to compete for trophies.

Why would we want to buy Seville? Load of nonsense you are coming out with. What about Keane 25m? That rs lot 75m for a CB and want 140m for Cout. Need to get with it and up to date with what is happening.

I'm not savvy/clued up enough on club finances, because it bores me but it does seem like we're used to shopping in Farmfoods for sausage rolls, but now in Waitrose and panic buying stuff we're not even sure what it is, like umami paste.

Wages are going up across the board though mate

and yeah in my opinion the problem isn't the wages we are paying players, it's the players who we are paying those wages too if that makes sense, then again pretty sure when spurs spent the Bale money and when the rs spent the Suarez money they both went silly on bringing in players on more money than they where worth

We don't offer Sandro that wage - then we don't get him - which given hindsight doesn't look the worst idea obviously lol
We don't give those wages to Klassen the chances are we don't sign him either - see above for that.

Then again the rs didn't get Delli Alli from MK Dons as apparently at the time the wages he wanted they thought where too high and spurs where willing to pay them, so swings and roundabouts.

..i’m not overly bothered by whatever salary these blokes are on, it’s Monopoly money these days. For the scaremongerers, Everton have to live within Fair Play rules designed to ensure the financial stability of clubs. You have to pay these sums in the modern game. Tosun’s salary might look low in 12 months time given how transfers and salary are rocketing.
