A fee was agreed...
They then renaged on that and said they wanted more.

I take it you think we should give in to that despite agreeing on a different fee?

That's what the papers in England are saying, who knows what the case actually is.

Obviously it wasn't agreed anywhere on paper if they actually are able to renege on that deal and if that is in fact the case then I'm going to blame him for that as well.

The facts are simple mate. We didn't get a proper striker in all summer. We don't have one today, four months after he failed in the summer and the team has nose dived because of it.

One man is responsible above all others for recruitment at this club and that man his Steve Walsh and so he bears the blame.

"Everton have made an offer for Cenk, reports that we increased his price are false, our vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has been leading negotiations," Orman said.

Hmmmm, fancy that......:coffee:

Oh yeah, completely false, we just invented a higher big from some made up Chinese team to make Everton feel better about the bargain they are getting. This dude cannot be serious. He is welcome to take the money from China. Good luck, Cenk.

How do you know he's made up the China bid mate?

Besiktas chief denies increasing asking price for Cenk Tosun

Besiktas are confident of agreeing a deal with Everton for the sale of Cenk Tosun but have denied raising the striker's asking price.

Everton have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old striker although it was reported Besiktas were not keen to sell due to their ongoing participation in the Champions League.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman told reporters the Premier League side had made an offer and said progress was being made.

"Everton have made an offer for Cenk, reports that we increased his price are false, our vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has been leading negotiations," Orman said.

"A club from China offered €35 million for Cenk Tosun. And we said no. He is a very important player & we respect where he wants to play. Nothing is finished yet [Everton], if our criteria is met the transfer will go ahead."
