There is absolutely no scenario where we will have bid for this guy. Actually, there is one; Sullivan knows the player has been signed by another club so bids a derogatory amount that he knows will not be accepted, just so he can say he tried. Please see in recent times: Lacazette, Carvalho, Tevez, Batshuctai (sp), Vardy etc..

If we had 27m to spend (we are broke), it would be invested in our centre mid and right back. Our options up front are actually very decent for where we are, we just lack the players that can provide the service.

Here's a link showing our ambition up top, if any of you are unduly worried.

This could be interesting, as we're normally the ones putting in fake bids in to keep blag the fans.

Could be that the two clubs are " out fake bidding each " other.

Poor lads gonna end staying put in Turkey.

At least he get a decent weekend in London out of it lol

The way we've played these last three games we might as well have sent Sam, Rooney, Colleen, Dave Whelan's leg and Speedo Mick to Istanbul.

I've run the calculations.

5% chance he scores 20+ goals for the next 2 seasons and is regarded a huge success
45% chance he scores 5-10 goals and is sold back to a Turkish/German club for under £10m
50% chance he gets homesick, doesn't suit English football and is loaned out / released on a free and appears in "what were they thinking" Everton lineups in years to come.

I'm all for a calculated risk in the transfer market but a peak age signing, from a poor league, who plays in a dominant attacking team screams almost certain fail.

Mate, always so positive about everything, there is another thread available to you if required

Give us a break please, its getting boring!

Besiktas accepted Everton's final bid (£25m) Cenk Tosun wanted Everton from the very first day. It will be officially announce within 2 days possibly tomorrow.
