Apart from Calvert-Lewin the others couldn’t win an argument never mind a header.
Haha...very true. Don't understand quite whats gone wrong with the squad, They all seem so bloody static at the mo...scared stiff it seems. We need...or sam needs more mobility up front and attacking in general to escape this so called hoof approach we are being labelled with. This lad seems to have good movement so heres hoping there is something in this one.

The worrying thing is that Arouna Koné is presently playing in Turkey and has a better goals per game ratio than this lad.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to say that reactions from the fans of the two sides are exaggerated.

I don't understand why Besiktas fans are trolling everywhere. We have a good player and an EPL team is interested in him and obviously making a good offer-that we can't refuse because of our financial situation-so we can just wish the best for him because he deserves it as a player and a person. He's made enormous progress in 4 years and it's time for him to join and try his chance in a better league.

And you, Everton fans, don't have to worry at this level. He is maybe not the "name" you were looking for but he is really a good striker. His finishing is just brilliant and he improved his positioning last year. So he can score different types of goals at every moment of a match. But of course he is not the typical "EPL athletic, fast forward". Your team (our team now :)) will have to bring him the ball near the box so he can show his skills. And I'm sure he will. Also the fact that Turkish league is a low-quality league shouldn't have such an impact on his adaptation because defenders are very rude so I think he is ready to fight with strong defenders.

Finally I don't know well your team but a Rooney-Cenk duo can be really good in terms of finishing. Rooney is also the kind of guy who can make the final passes Cenk likes (like Ozyakup does for us). And if you use your wingers well, he may be even more performant. He generally doesn't miss many goals, but sometimes he is difficult to "find" when the team fails to move forward. And the last thing is that he's a great caracter and he shows it at every minute he plays. I am sure you will love him too.

Hope the best for him and for your team.

Scoring 15 in the Prem would be fine. Scoring 15 in Turkey is a different thing all together.

Hope he’s able to adapt quickly, but these players are always a bit of a punt.
I personally think for the most part it just doesn't matter at all. If you can play, you can play.

He plays CL and scores goals, so surely that counts?

We've signed players who've done well in the prem and turned out to be crap etc.

I've actually seen people saying that he only scores 15 a season so not good enough...

Some 'fans' blow my mind

Joke innit.

He bags 10 and Rooney bags 10, then hopefully a couple others get 5+ (which has been doubtful for seasons) then we're in good shape.

Better shape than Koeman's "spread the goals around" he spent £200mill on

He looks good playing in an average league alongside some quality players, wait until he has Yannick and Lennon providing the crosses.....

But we’ve seen with Klaassen and Sandro (who scored for fun in less physical leagues last season) how difficult it is to adapt.

The positive re Tosun is that he’s obviously a more physical player than Klaassen and Sandro and should, on paper, more more suited.

Champions league scoring stats need to be taken with a pinch of salt, he might’ve scored those goals against Maribor and Celtic for example (not sure who they were against?)
