I watched the '67 EC final in its entirety only about 3 years ago. I couldn;'t believe the level of football played for that time, and how much Celtic absolutley dominated the match. They should have won by more, in fact.

Great bit in "Inverting The Pyramid" where it says that Inter thought they'd lose, even when they went 1-0 up, and their players actively didn't want the ball

I really remember the '67 final and Tommy Gemmil's goal in particular. Was also lucky enough to have witnessed Billly and Jinky Jimmy play for Scotland in Wales. Fine days and we'll find no finer!

Should have actually won it twice, but they were fighting with the board over bonuses!

Celtic underestimated Feyenoord. They were a really good team, and would have won more if it hadn't been for the great Ajax team who were around at that time.

Not giving any credence to the rumours, but wondering what other Celtic folk are thinking about the prospect of Mourinho coming in (supposedly spoken with Dermot Desmond). Personally would be incredible for me, a lot of folk seem like they’d rather hold onto grudges from 2003 than see Celtic with a genuinely elite manager. Nonetheless, seems like it’s nothing more than rumours and highly unlikely to be true.

I doubt Mourinho would come up here to manage, but if he does, I would gladly accept him, and I think the vast majority of Celtic fans would too.
