cautious positivity

cautious optimism?

  • We're actually ace

  • Yes things look a little brighter

  • Some improvement BUT

  • Still doom and gloom

  • Are you allowed cheese on toast on your ward?

We are doing ok at the moment considering the abysmal transfer window and the magic manager merry-go-round we had.
Allerdyce inherited one of, if not the most unbalanced squad we have had in years but has managed to pull in some quality signings and we look a better team for that. We played well on Wed in patches, Walcott and Seamus were an inspiration. We have had the window now and it's time to show us what you can do.......over to you Mr Allerdyce.

I just knew when I saw the title on the thread that things would go south this weekend. As an Evertonian you should say the words "cautious optimism" with the caution you would normally reserve for "Please castrate me."

However saying that, people need to remember that was the Everton B team that got spanked yesterday and we have been yo-yoing back and forth all season so we may easily win our next match or two and things will seem a lot better.
