He put himself in that position mate by not having the decency to resign.
She might be a horrible Home Counties Mumsnet nazi, but Carragher deserved every second of that pummelling.

I've just had to watch the Carragher interview again. He clearly had no idea how tough the interviewer was going to be. She ran rings around him!
I'd say he was like a rabbit caught in the headlights but that would be grossly unfair on our rabbit population.
He'd have been far better 'laying low' for a few days.
His 'damage limitation' seems to have been more of a demolition job!
Figured so, but it was just OTT. It's like it was made to either really humiliate him, or to garner sympathy, and I felt it for a microsecond. All pre-planned. Sky certainly don’t want to lose him.

Wrong way around I am afraid

Defo mate. They're all hypocrites. It's amusing seeing him put in that position but it stinks to me of Sky coming across as being harsh on him and not letting him off lightly to protect their own image when the reality is their actions will most likely be anything but, a few weeks of on full pay or something. Even if he is sacked he'd have no problems getting another cushy number somewhere else anyway.
