Carlos Salcido, could it be us?

Reports in Holland doing the rounds that PSV are very close to an agreement with an unnamed PL club over the services of Mexican international defender Carlos Salcido. I know we don't have much if any money to spend, but Salcido could fit the bill for Moyes as he admitted a while ago being on the look out for a back up left back. Can play as a CB also.

Id say , NO , but I WOULD say the Swedish Centre Forward is RS bound . Toyvelen , or some such . Half decent too , by the looks .

Toivonen, indeed as you say, half decent, but no where near the missing piece of their jigsaw. Although that jigsaw has certainly seen better times.

can see us only getting a left back on loan, if yobo or someone goes out, myself if we could get a striker would be nice, but even the rumours in the rags have dryed up we dont get a few lines linked to some unknown from latvia or somewere anymore.

Salcido is decent from what I have seen. However, won't be us in a million years.

Sounds like what we need a backup LB who can play left sided CB tbh but doubt it's us, and lcab has heard nowt so almost certainly not.

Have you seen him play mate? I'm just asking here because I think you're overlooking the fact he's not all that just to have left back cover mate.
