Won league titles in 5 countries, would take him here .. oh wait 😄

"Winning AC Milan" - 6th and trophyless for the last few seasons, winning the cups, CL and league in the season after his appointment.

Real Madrid hadn't won the CL for over a decade before he got there, did in his first go.

He'd only won the league and cup with Chelsea, so clearly was crap there.

If anything his league record is usually a bit meh - he was sacked from Napoli for that same reason as they'd not won in 6 or 7 games or something, despite smashing teams in the CL and being top of their group. He's the Europe God though.

To be fair it's not impossible - he's said he likes clubs that are like families more than like products, we fit the bill.

Sadly, we couldn't also pay the bill really.
"yeah, I stepped into the Everton warzone expecting to deal with more bullspit* than I ever had, although I had my eyes open, they weren't open enough! How a founder member of the league with the first Cathedral to Football on the planet (Goodison) could be treated with such disdain, and then the treatment from those outside the club. I knew then I had my hands full..."

Still can't imagine Bill trying to give footy advise to Don Carlo

I agree his league form was traditionally the big doubt about him but he has addressed that in his 2nd spell at Madrid. 2 leagues in 3 years which is a bit unusual for him
