Holgate, when played at RB, default setting when he receives the ball is to look over his left shoulder and give it to Keane or back to Pickford. I accept his options are limited with Iwobi in front of him but he could also try a pass to an Allan, Doucore or Gomes. But he just never does. Frustrates the hell out of me.
hello buddy i think it is really great u have identified this so please come on in and i will get u a nice green tea while we try our best to alert mr ancelotti and his coaching team to this glaring error. want some pan pipes on the speaker while we wait??

If Mina is back would a midfield of Godfrey, Davies and Allan work until Doucoure is back
Godfrey has the power pace and physicality and he can tackle
Plus he likes a 50 yard run with the ball every now and again
Davies holding Allan to the right and Godfrey to the left
Mina is due back this week
good evening buddy we got a lovely cushion for u in the corner there would u like a hot chocolate maybe a marshmallow to go with it?? now u just sit and relax no need to be scared in here only happy thoughts my very special buddy.

Is anyone else getting frustrated by this tendency to pass back all the time? Allan, davies, keane, holgate and even Gomez are serious culprits. I noticed it in a big way against United and it's the same [Poor language removed] yarn since then. DCL and Richarldson are busting a gut up front and no one is trying to find them. I'd much prefer losing the possession with an audacious through ball then keeping it tiky tak

2. Not keeping possession
This is a major issue. Chelsea were knocking the ball around tonight like any team should when they are protecting a lead. When we're ahead it's just 'sit back and absorb'. Against teams like man city this is going to have crucified.

3. Not pressing enough
Ashley Cole alluded to this after the west Brom game. He said 'they dont run enough off the ball for my liking. If you're chasing your dreams you've got to work much harder'. This is spot on. The aggression and pressure in the second half tonight was excellent, but why arent they like this every game? Why does it take going 2 nil down? A Guardiola side suffocates you, the pressure is immense and you dont get a chance to think. Coleman, davies and allan have great intensity, but I just wish there was this desire aggression from the whole side. Love to see players doubling up and crowding out the opposition. Can't understand why it requires a 2-0 deficit to motivate them into playing like demons.

All these issues can be rectified in a single team talk. Cant understand why they're reappearing game after game. Anyone else notice this lack of intensity and aggression?

He may have multiple successes in various leagues and at the feasted at the highest table in European football but Don Carlo and his unwillingness to tackle issues that could be resolved "in a single team talk" is clearly costing Everton very dearly.

These are worrying times mein Snidel and we should surely be glad that ever vigilant Bloos are looking out for us.

I avoid the actual everton forum as I got fed up of reading the negative bubbles of self entitled people who have convinced themselves they know about football, tactics, man management, team psychology, training, physiology, injuries, transfers, club finances etc etc than the rest of the world combined. Arguing with those is futile - even if you win an argument against them using your own reason and actual experience - so what - you've changed nothing.

But don't tell me - there are people, actual everton fans, who are grizzling that we have Carlo at the helm? Seriously? What do they want? They're behaving like this is some computer game and they're moaning they haven't found the cheat codes yet, that means they win everything at their first attempt while expending no effort, yet the win somehow still makes them think they're special somehow. They haven't got the cheat code straight away so they're crying into their milk ffs.

*shakes head
*shakes fist at cloud

the luck is truly all ours buddy and i feel with this array of talent we should phase out the everton manager role and instead use these flawless geniuses as a ruling committee instead.

So with Doucoure crocked can we finally take the kid gloves off with this fella?

9 months since his surgery on his achilles he should be starting training with the squad by now if he hasn't had any setbacks which according to Carlo he hasn't.

We cant afford to be carrying too much deadweight at this stage of the season and Delph isn't relinquishing his title as being the squad waster.

Get him training over the international break and have him in the squad for the Palace game to start getting 15-20 minutes here and there to build up fitness.
Hopefully Carlo and the medical team have seen this corker, finally solving the riddle that is JPG.
