He’s the last person who needs to leave. I’d be happy to see anyone at the club leave before him.

We only have one player who can come off the bench today and he was utter crap. We have way too many injuries.

He chooses to play like this. He is a cautious 90's Italian coach and the game has moved on.

Remember when we dominated possession away to Spurs on the opening game of the season and it felt like this was going to be the new Everton going forward... the regression is insane. Even when we more or less had our first choice midfield later on in the season we never got close to that level again. The ultimate fluke result
