A barrier has been broken. Let's hope we can build on this, and win the matches against Fulham, Newcastle, etc., then this will be very good. Will not write anything in the Ancelotti thread before the summer of 2022. Until then, I am a member of the Ancelotti sect.

His substitutions were all 100% on point today - Siggy for Gomes who was having a mare, Calvert-Lewin for Rodriguez to try and get us further up the pitch, and Iwobi on for some fresh legs right at the end.
Good call that, Gomes had red-card/ possession-loss-leading-to-a-goal all over him tonight.

Absolutely atrocious from the start til he was hooked.

The second half at Old Trafford, the Spurs game, and now this evening. That's three big games, where we have shown some serious balls and character in. On the flip side we've had poor results against, the geordies and Fulham.

Seriously the improvement we have shown, in big games with a lot riding on them has been immense. We just need to put the same level of effort and performances, into the games against these so called lesser sides. Mind you we have beaten a lesser side this evening. lol

But i'm really looking forward to the summer, and Carlo getting more players in to improve the side. Seriously Ancelotti could turn out to be the best thing, to happen to this club since 1987. This club has been in a coma for 34 years, but it looks like we've found the man to wake it up again.
