The lad will have been brought up living the game, especially the ‘scientific’ aspect with his Dad being a coach for a large part of his life. I trust he’ll be a good judge and tactician, I doubt he’ll be a ‘yes’ man.
I've seen Duncan stays on and his son is more of a physio background.
I'm pleased he's kept Duncan on, not just because it's Duncan but because the team have shown a fair amount for him, in very difficult circumstances in the last 2 games and in utilising Ferguson it shows a degree of confidence from the new manager. From what I've read Ancelotti is not a great trainer but you can see the work Ferguson has done on the training pitch with the team. It could be a good combination.
His fitness people wilt be important too. I'm glad he's got them, as other managers didn't seem to have specific people. To me we are a long way off being fit enough, and have been really since

If we can play at the intensity we have for periods of the last two games, for 90 minutes we have the basis of a good side. At present we can't. We visibly tire. That needs to change.
