Osman could probably stil get away with playing ahead of a couple of decent defensive midfielders but to play the role we're asking him to at the moment he just doesn't have the engine to be anything other than average.

He might even surprise us and have a good game but if he does it will be with what he does on the ball rather than off it which is the concern.
