They've just said Huddersfield were in the prem 17-19. I have no memory of this ever happening
We beat them 3 times over them two seasons, drawing the other. This will be our 4th meeting with them in the League Cup, we beat them 3-2 on aggregate in the 2nd round in 98 and 5-1 at Goodison again in the 2nd round in 2010

Aston Villa and Birmingham. Two teams from the same city and Birmingham was in the Southern half and Villa in the Northern! What's all that about??

As for our draw I was hoping for a home tie as I wanted to take my young nephew to his first game but that plan is now shelved. We gave these a bit of a beating a few years ago at the same stage but any kind of result in our favour will do in a competition we're truely jinxed in.

They’ll throw West Brom Arsenal on, as Arsenal haven’t appeared in 30 years in the second round.

Barrow Vs. Villa probably makes the cut.

I really hope so, gutted that we missed out on my dream Everton game......for now, but a great draw still.

iFollow can't show EFL cup/trophy games so just get the radio, fingers crossed that this is a live game so I get to watch it.

Barrow's first home league cup game, for what, 40 years?

Against Villa, who could play the likes of Bailey, England international Mings etc... would be truly shocked if you don't get to watch it!

Yeah, that is my thought.

We played at home in the first round but yeah, first time in the 2nd round since the late 60's, first time playing a premier league side at home (have gone to Middlesbrough and Sunderland in the FA cup 11/12 years ago). God knows how long since playing a top league side in a competitive game.

Just been on the Barrow forum and Notts Forest in '69 was mentioned in the league cup.

52 years is enough.

They won't turn that down. Both Sky and BBC both lead with "Barrow Vs. Villa".... should be a good occasion!
