'Cant be bothered anymore...'

It's ok, your in good company, neither can Martinez. The difference is he's asleep at the wheel.

got to say he has got that wigan look from 2 season's ago on him. To be honest the only voice you could here in goodison last night was pullis barking, but getting back to the thread I guess it's going through the depths of despair that makes you appreciate the good times when they come.

Blue Moon, you saw me standing alone.........

You young uns are lucky, lucky people, yes people my age watched us win titles, cups, destroy Europe, tear the vermin across the park a new 1, but we then had to watch as we slowly crumbled into a team that twice escaped the drop. Then Moyes came along, he gave some of us hope, but he wasnt the messiah, he was infact a very naughty boy, then it was Bobby time, he again has given us hope, sadly hope that is getting diluted with every single passing game.

Will we ever make the song true again? Its not a major issue, for me, Everton will always be the greatest team, the world has ever seen.

Justice for Jeff

Who is jeff?

Negs for anyone who posts the "my name is Jeff meme"

At the start yes, but once he'd got his squad in place we generally finished at least in the middle

I certainly didn't worry about relegation during the end of his tenure

Nor did I, we were for the most part a hard team to beat. Okay a few chickenpooh defeats against bigger clubs but other teams did not like coming to GP because they knew they had a hard game coming.

One trophy in twenty eight years. Perhaps we're becoming a slightly upgraded Preston. Who knows? Only time will tell.

I never worried about relegation under Moyes, that was about it though, there was never anything to look forward to, no excitement before going the game, because nearly every game/season it was more of the same predictable defend and hope to nick one football, with a few good games here and there.

Couldn't agree more, I take great pleasure in staring at his beaming smile as we throw away more points, we know we can't win any trophies as he won't/can't spend so the thrill of staying up it is then.......:pint2:

Not really, we are 13th, that means we still have a few places until we can say things can only get better, and we are certainly in the position where things can get worse, [Poor language removed]!!!!
To put a more positive spin on things, looking at the table today we're only four points behind Newcastle(supposedly flying a few weeks ago)

It's not beyond the realm of fantasy to beat Crystal Palace and Liverpool, consolidate v Chelsea and your in the top half of the table,we're not Burnley,Hull,Leicester or QPR,we're Everton FC,we have a squad full of internationals and not internationals playing for 3rd world republics in the African cup but England,Belgium,Eire,Scotland and USA

Now the dust has settled let's look at the brighter side,we never played that bad last night, any team would have struggled to play against whatever that was last night but we've got fixtures coming up we can win........ah f*** it come on you blues!!!!

Stayed away this last night as I knew the fume would have tipped me over the edge, mood is better this morning but reality has set on big time. Everton Football Club will never dine at the top table again in my lifetime. Now I know that might be a pretty ridiculous thing to say and I know ill get slaughtered by many, but I can't see how we can catch up to the likes of the Manchester Clubs, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Globally they are huge, they have all big stadium's, greater revenue and can attract more Investment than we can. Bad news for us is West Ham will soon join them and Southampton's playing squad is better than Everton's at the minute. They also have rich owners. Bill and the boy's have done nothing for this club in 15 years, in fact they have just added to our demise. Last year was great I enjoyed the football and the great atmosphere and buzz about the place, god we even held tea party's and mystery tours.

I also have a fair idea how this will play out, all the asset's we have on the playing field will eventually leave to win trophies and go to club's with ambiton. Evertonian's booed Ross Barkley last night, People are well entitled to Boo when they pay hard earned cash to witness that performance, but please don't moan when he join's Man City or any other team. This will eventually happen as will Stones leaving and Coleman and McCarthy.

We have missed the boat folks, No rich Russian's or Billionaires will save us, because we are not for sale. And even if we did get sold who know's how it would turn out anyway's.

Nil Satis Nisi Optimum: That used to mean something and for the sake of my health and Mental health EVERTON I'M NO LONGER BOTHERED.

We all feel like that sometimes, doesn't stop us dreaming though.
Next time you're feeling this way you'll find me in https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/everton-i-hate-you.70085/

Pull up a chair and moan to your hearts content.
