Can we integrate all these players?

I think it's a big ask to be up and running for pl start. Really tough opening and not yet a close team.
I hope everything is good, but I think it will take time to bed players in.

I don't see it being too problematic.
Rooney will settle in straight away, Keane and Pickford will be fine.
Klaassen and Sandro are the only 2 new to the league but both appear to be ready to role their sleeves up and work hard.

The other targets know the league too so I would expect Sigurdsson and Van Dijk to get up to speed quickly too ;)

Chelsea did okay when Abramovich showed up and bought them a ton of players. It is possible.

I think Keane and Rooney will hit the ground running. The others will take a bit of time I think.

I would imagine the integration process will take a year minimum. By that I mean where our passing becomes instinctive and the players don't need to think about it e.g. See Spurs Arsenal the old United for what that takes. If we are lucky it will take a year

I agree. This is going to take a while. And it's something that is worth remembering.

But it's also something that needed to happen. We'd gone a little stale so it's worth it in the long run.

Huge amount of change, different playing staff and different formation. Takes a lot to integrate. Will not be ready for start of season.
Draw against Stoke, then a few defeats I think looking at tonights performance.

Based on the two competitive games we've played so far, then I'd agree that we should really be looking at a few defeats.
But a few "backs to the wall" type games might actually suit us while players start to get to know each others games, so I don't think it'll be as bad as you suggest mate.

I hope not but on the evidence of two performances, we are struggling.
Stoke will be a better version of them.
Sandro was shut out by them because they packed the defence. We are not pressing from the front and movement forward from defence was as bad as in the Martinez days.
Early days and time to make changes, but that performance was dire.
