I have to admit after a early season were i gladly spent grands following my beloved team the last few weeks have left me running for cover and when the topic of football came up I would find some work to do and escape quickly. Due to only getting 1 weekend in 3 off I cant travel to all the games but enjoy blagging time off for the big games (any) and of cause the euro trips away but since the benfica trip Iv been left with a giant hole which was filled with EFC, Now after yesterdays fight were I witnessed the Everton FC who play with passion and a most of all a will to win the game I was again left dreaming and now cant wait to see what happens next, can dare dream again.

Most of us recognise what you are saying Steve, yesterday the team reacted to the fans and vicea versa, GP rocked and Spuds [Poor language removed] themselves. They showed that the spirit of Goodison lives and that their backbones can stand tall....................but lets not get too carried away as our injury list is enormous and we are only just above the relegation zone, there is a long way to go!

This.
We are still too close for comfort. We have tough fixture list for the next 2mths. Thank god we didn't lose this game, every point is important now.

I hear what your saying but playing like the way we did in the last half reminded of the team that were beating anyone in front of them, Im going to dream big again and lets hope we get the [Poor language removed] in europe

Never stop dreaming, me being of a certain age have experienced the frustration of the 70's , the glory of the 80's , the promise of the 90's & 00's....but never have stopped dreaming.

Soon the dream will be over and we will be living it. Just the old proverbial ball needs to bounce our way with some deep pockets help for near and afar.:D

It was to the thread starter, "can I afford to start dreaming again?".
Anything is possible with enough money, saying that LFC and MCFC can't buy one ounce of the team ethic and moral Moyes has instilled in our squad.
Rough with the smooth.

well im more optimistic because the " spirit" seems to be returning ..for me this was hugely lacking in our squad so far this season and i thought because of this foundation of DM was missing the whole injuries situation plastered over this ...

i know we hav had good players out and a lot number wise out but we were still able to pick a team with some decent players but people just over used the injuries line again and again and it became boring and downhearting.....

but i was sure once the basic DM plan came to fruit things would start to change for the better and recently it has (y)
