The problem is people will never be satisfied. Sam hasn't really helped himself with some of his comments but he hasn't really had a fair crack of the whip yet. Like kev said, give him a chance. If the majority of fans are going to continue to hate on allardyce then unfortunately his position may be untenable.

However havnt we had enough of constant chopping and changing managers, we get another manager In the summer and we have to start from square one again. Let's give allardyce a chance, see what he can do in the summer, give him half a season and see where we are. If we constantly slate whoever we have in charge we won't get anywhere. Let's support everton

Friday 6 April - Guarantee Your Season Ticket deadline. This will be the last date all 2017/18 Season Ticket Members will be able to secure their own seat before they are released to all Official Members on the Register Your Interest list.

There are just two more games - Stoke v Everton and Everton v City - before it's time to make that important decision to renew. Will Allardyce still be here? I really can't bear another season of the Big Fat Slug.

Will it be possible to get a season ticket again? It's a gamble, but I think it may well be. Renewals for 2018/19 will cost the same as new season tickets - is that right?

Are you for real? Of course he’s had a fair crack of the whip. He’s simply not up to it and we don’t need to waste more time on a limited manager. Get safe and pay him off.

One win doesn't change anything other than we now only need 1 more win to be safe. He had his chance to impress but subjected us to a couple of months of the most boring negative embarrassing football seen in a blue shirt for decades. Before today we had won just 2 in the last 12 games. Now we are 3 in the last 13 games. Woopidoo.

He could never be the future of Everton, not for me anyway. Needs to go as soon as possible after we have hit 40 points. We need as much time as possible to clear out and start again to get ready for the following season and that includes Management, Hierarchy and players.

Sorry mate, you`re so very wrong.

This was his last chance at redemption, to prove that he wasn`t an ignorant, hoofballing, dinosaur.

He`s just reinforced that opinion and that will be his legacy as a manager.

The vast majority of the fans never wanted him here in the first place.

All he`s managed to do is get most of the fence sitters on board too, rather than change their opinion of him.

He can`t go soon enough.

Incredible that some fans have been so desensitised to failure and low standards that they are contemplating giving this joke another year. 30 years as a bog standard manager, not winning a single pot. A panic appointment made by a shambolic board. Imagine being told 2 years ago that we'd be accepting Sam Allardyce to lead us into a new season with his dire career win ratio. Get to 40 points and get shut.
