He played half a season in the Championship last year with Wigan.

Yup he played 17 games. If he can get a starting place at a top end Championship side for a season then will be good because I think ne needs more experience.

He's actually positionally the type of utility man Koeman was looking for. It's maybe a year too soon but I think he could have a good chance of making it. Our own Phil Neville if you like, will never be first choice in any position but able back up to a few and an invaluable substitute.

What I like, having seen him briefly was he seems to have grown a bit more again and filled out. He was always a big lad up to 15 and then stopped growing a bit, looking quite slight for a time. He looks to be shooting up again though and he may end up being 6 ft plus which I always felt would be his height. As a defender that will make a big difference. Surprised and pleased to see him involved and wonder if his progression may be a reason why we are not looking at a left back.

Ok from what Iv seen so far, my socks are still on my feet like.

Also his eyes nose and mouth are all rammed into the centre quadrant of his face which is quite alarming.

The positions he plays yes. Right footed player who mainly plays left back. Can also play right back and defensive midfield.
