Can anyone tell me how much roughly will the solicitors fees cost when buying a house

Depends on the price of the house and the quality of the legal firm you use. They will tell you when you first speak to them.

a few varying prices here for you i think the last one i bought in 05 was about 650 ive had a couple where your mortgage company actuly pay them if you use one off there list i

You could always get a mortgage with free legals, that's what I did
