I just realized that Everton is not playing tomorrow and that blows. I was very much looking forward to seeing them play on Boxing Day.

It's the risk of infection rather than the absences themselves that cause games to be postponed.

I'm not a snide. If I thought you were saying you wanted Everton beaten I'd have said it.

Your post was way too concillitary to Burnley. It's a pandemic. They played less games than others. It happens. If we'd have played them today we'd have been in a fight that we wont be in when both teams take to the field in the rearranged match. That's all that concerns me. Burnley can look after themselves.

I'd love to know how many Burnley players are injured and have covid. There probably are some, but it could be a total of three which
would make it very unfair to expect Everton to play the match, given the number of our players out.
Why isn't that number being talked about and reported?
