When Duncan Ferguson used to play for us he would always manage to get suspended for Boxing Day games,so he could go away for Christmas. Has he gone away this year ? Because our finishing today suggests someone else has taken charge of the coaching in that area for this game.

Yes. He got his decision making spot on here. In truth, I dont think his strategy against Spurs was wrong here...it was just undone by a howler and a team that lost confidence afterward.

Great win today, especially after Sunday.

If and a big if we can keep the run going then it sets us up for a good second half of the season. Just a shame we lost so much ground this month.

Important to bounce back after that shambles at the weekend.
Fair play to the manager for changing things and to the players for stepping up and replying.

Somehow we're still still 7th* and have a good run of fixtures ahead.

We need to put the previous dross behind us and build some momentum from today.
