What was more amazing than Andrei's hat-trick was that John Ebbrell actually scored that day. Amokachi was the other scorer that day wasn't he?

Said for a long time, I'd like to see the likes of Wednesday to come back up because I miss away days to big cities and big grounds - Leeds, Forest etc.

Sheff weds, forest, even Leeds though I hate them all good aways those.

God, I don't like any of those clubs but I get frustrated travelling absolutely miles to places that have tiny attendance capacities and some pathetic fan bases.

For all I dislike about them, I'd have the likes of Villa, Forest, Derby, Leeds, Wednesday and The Blades over your Southamptons, Bournemouth, Watford etc.

To be fair, Burnley isn't too bad as it isn't that far away and there's a good selection of boozers on the way, while the rugby ground next to is very accommodating.

Yup he was mate. From.memory think Andrei hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times that game and at least one assist too.
I remember him hitting the post once but you may be right with it being a couple of times.

Played really well overall.

A shaky spell either side of HT, but they didn't do anything bar the goal.

For once, we were clinical - no major chances missed - and look what happened. We trounced a team because we create plenty.

Yes, Burnely are gash, but that's the reaction we needed. Shame about City, like, muppets.

Hard to be critical after winning 5-1 but...
- The performance when 3-1 up was cagey
- Game management needs to be better
- Too many stray passes cheaply giving up possession
- Play to the whilstle
- Coleman needs to do more to stop the crosses coming in from his side.

Plenty of positives though.
- 3 at the back is a good option when we're without the combative midfield presence of Gueye
- Digne is a beast at everything he does
- Walcott continues to prove his movement is vital to creating our chances
- DCL has flashes of doing great things but is total bambi other times.
- Bernard is great, won't be long before he slots for himself.

Proper bizarre game that

Went 3-0 up without really doing anything; then looked like we'd throw it away.

Thankfully burnley died and their formation change worked for us.

Oh and DCL is crap, we had no outlet up top apart from the little Brazilian magician

When we win 5-1 away from home I feel this is definitely the right time to be slating our players.

Merry Xmas!
