The stands are close to the pitch with some steep angles (the away end isn't) so it's quite intense. Add to that, it's on the top of a hill and always bloody cold!

Seamus had the pace and acceleration (explosiveness) to be able to beat a man and get to the byline where he'd either pull it back or dink it in, as you mention.

Now, he has lost that pace and explosiveness so is more reliant on actually having to cross traditionally, which highlights how he is lacking in this area.
