But Crystal palace beat us at home? Logic?we've only got city left to play out of teams arguably better than us - wolfsberg away is a while away yet as well

That was a fluke and without Howard's two howlers we'd have won comfortably. But Crystal palace beat us at home? Logic?
The logic of that statement??????? = we still got beat! That was a fluke and without Howard's two howlers we'd have won comfortably.
Looking forward we're not likely to repeat that performance, I mean if we played crystal palace 10x at home we'd probably lose at most once. The logic of that statement??????? = we still got beat!
Lost the last 2 to palace at home. Just saying likeLooking forward we're not likely to repeat that performance, I mean if we played crystal palace 10x at home we'd probably lose at most once.

...I always wonder why so much is made of Thursday/Sunday games and much less fuss about Midweek/Saturday games for the Champions League clubs. Interesting perspective from Gary Neville that regular Thursday/Sunday games impact the internal clock players are used to. Hope we prove that theory wrong his season.
Yeah it's interesting because it shouldn't really be any different to playing Wednesday/Saturday! Teams that have struggled in the past like Newcastle, Stoke etc maybe just didn't have the squad to properly compete on both fronts
