Very pleased we got something out of a tricky away game. 1 point closer to being safe!. However we do appear to have great difficulty in scoring...probably need 3 or 4 more transfer windows to remedy that.
Because he’s probably one of these fans who have no sense of realism at all. He was probably gutted we got Moyes because he expected Pep to come here.Mate we've had 2x point deductions for being right in the sheet. Just avoided relegation twice. We've now got an awesome stadium and better players. Financially we look good. What makes you think we are suddenly better than the top 6 overnight? Patience
What are you talking about ? Borrowed time ? FFS.Talk me through Dwights game & I am sure an under 23 could not do better?
Alcaraz at least he tried sweat pouring off himself as he came off - Dwight never ran to break into sweat past it !
Needs selling, that team DM set out to play must have past backwards 100 times & not much difference when we have our star players- DM is on borrowed time IMO!
Its no good having windows to come if the money we do have is wasted, Barry and Dibling, yes I know Dibling is young but 42m for him an only potential, 42m for player who may not even make the grade is an unnecessary gamble imo.I was just happy when broja went off so th inevitable didn't happen. We're an average side with our whole midfield missing. I didn't enjoy it but we need to wait a few windows for us to improve and we are improving.
A game lasts 90 minutes plus added time. Playing well for 20 minutes against Arsenal doesn’t make it a heroic performance. After their goal, the game was under their control throughout. They didn’t need to push for more goals and saw the result out as a routine job. It’s just that it’s two weeks in a row of feeling meh. I want to feel excited like so many other top teams. We were playing so well against Arsenal given our depleted side….until a handball and PK. Wait all week to destroy Burnley until….an absolutely anemic and uninspired performance leaving us with a draw that we’re supposed to feel good about. Where’s the club that almost drew against Arsenal with the same depleted squad?
Could see 0-0 nailed on for this game. Predicted it on here days ago. Suppose lucky result in some ways but got me £200 at 7/1 with Hills for a £25 lay.Predicted this six days ago (well to be honest probably when the fixtures came out).
It is difficult though. The likes of Chelsea can gamble on people like KDH who were already quality. We don't have much choice. If you don't take a gamble you end up squandering on crap players anyway. Its no good having windows to come if the money we do have is wasted, Barry and Dibling, yes I know Dibling is young but 42m for him an only potential, 42m for player who may not even make the grade is an unnecessary gamble imo.
I think the only thing that would be worse than our current problems in the striker position, would be to play two of our mediocre strikers together.Play Beto and Barry up front together and hope a miscontrol will hit the other and go in
If Dibling was a young lad making his debut from the Academy I might have judged him with a bit more patience, but he played in the premier league quite a lot last season, has played a bit here and there this season so I was expecting the lad to be bursting with energy and show the fans that he is a player who was worth waiting for but I saw a young lad who looked afraid to get hold of the ball show his strengths,How did we rate Dibling's performance? Was meh for me but I saw glimpses of promise. Think he's a bit grealishy with the slow approach to take on a player. When he's more explosive he gets more joy passing his opponent. Timmy was the best of a poor bunch. Garner tried too. Myko frustrated the hell out me and Sell McNeil in Jan.
I take your point but even Chelsea don't pay 42m for such a big gamble and they can afford it, we do not have that sort of money for such a big gamble. It is difficult though. The likes of Chelsea can gamble on people like KDH who were already quality. We don't have much choice. If you don't take a gamble you end up squandering on crap players anyway.
If we slide down the league....which with performances like that is nailed on ...What are you talking about ? Borrowed time ? FFS.
