But then, VAR isn’t about getting things right; it’s about muddying the waters so much that officials can do as they please (or as the Premier League prefers) in the key moments. Today’s decision was an exercise in muddying those waters.

We didn't win this game back when we got our recruitment horribly wrong in August. That starting 11 today is absolutely nowhere near good enough. We didn't build a squad properly to deal with injuries and unavailability and that's why we dropped 2 points.

Their defender also stopped a Dibling shot with his hand. Clear handball.

But also burnley missed 3 or 4 when 1v1 with pickford.

Yeah, Barry did well with that chance. I felt he could have got more power, but it was actually quite well taken and a good save.

But neutral ex Prem managers have said in the past that Pawson has an issue with Everton. I've no reason to doubt that.

Nobody rolls their eyes harder than me at any suggestion of conspiracy or anti-Everton bias from the league/officials etc, but it’s so regular with this guy that it’s very noticeable. Very surprising that nobody from the club has made the point in public. Given the monumental cryarsing that Forest do weekly, seems the least we could do.

Dibling was a positive today. Classic Christmas hangover match that.

100% a penalty for us but they could have won it also.

Could have been a different game if their defender didnt get a touch on that cross from dibling into beto.

If we'd have got 1 then the goals could have flowed.

Moyes new slow posession based rubbish slowed things down for no reason...players all poor apart from Garner & Dibling.
