Oviedo is, if he makes anywhere near a full recovery, one to build the team around.
You never heard jack when he was not playing for months, even seasons, under Moyes and he was hardly Mr Congeniality.

Q) How many does this make that Roberto has ' allegedly' fell out with??.

A) Too many.

I think Oviedo isn't ready yet to play regular first team football. I thought he looked a little heavy in the Europa Cup game and it isn't that long since he had pins removed from his leg as they were interfering with his sprinting.
It is a long slow recovery..just give it time.

He did mate,at least offered us something different and you know this lad really wants to play for the club.

This precisely. He's that 'put you head down, focus and win your place in the team' type of player, giving 100% wherever he plays. Just like most South American players. They always work hard on and off the ball. I want him to have a long successful career at Everton.

I am a fan of his too. He was brilliant last season until the injury.
The difficulty is how does RM keep Garbutt and Oviedo happy when both are coming up to contract daedlines. My hope would be that Bryan is given a run on the left and Miralles goes over to the right-wing.

LB - Garbutt
LW - Oviedo
LCM - Baines
