What was that old cartoon with the big white bulldog in the spiked collar? Had a tiny sidekick dog that was always jumping up to be seen by Spike and saying "Hey Spike! Are we going to chase a cat (or whatever)" to which Spike responded "Ah shuddup" and smacked him across the screen into trashcans or such? What a terrible first half. We lack creativity and Miazga was especially horrible.

With that said, Trapp lived up to wearing the armband and Steffen is probably already better than Brad Guzan.

Perhaps. Toronto are 18th out of 23 MLS teams this season.

Honestly, Enner isn't too far below Everton's current striker crop, as painful as that may be.

I just discussed with my Spurs fan friend about how hard it is to find someone to take our strikers up a level. I couldn't give you a realistic name. Spurs had a miracle with Kane coming through the youth team. They've got nothing out of Soldado Janssen and Llorente.

Not saying bring Enner back. Kone scored ten goals in his time here and 4 were against lower league teams. So I think we've gotten better from that but finding another Lukaku level is tough.

The optimist in me says they’ve been taking time to evaluate the new crop in order to find someone who can manage to those players strengths.

The realist in me says they’re holding off to save some money after firing Jurgen last cycle and having to pay him off.
