Thanks for updates.

It's a widely reported issue on XenForo forums (the forum software) and looks like an issue between iOS/Safari devices and Cloudflare (a paid for service we have to use). iOS/Safari and Cloudflare release updates and it seems one has caused an issue.

Despite being widely reported, we're still in a space where forum admins are trying to cobble together what is broke and a temp fix until iOS/Safari, Cloudflare or XenForo provide a patch. As an admin on another forum mentioned;



^ it's a nightmare to work out the issue because everything a forum admin can control says things are fine.

It's not an issue with the server, or our forum.

Apparently the temporary fix which people have reported some success with is disabling HTTP/3 on Cloudflare which we've had enabled for many years, which I did at 4pm yesterday. It could be worth repeating the below if you haven't since 4pm yesterday;

• The Service Worker on your iPhone might be trying to load an old version of a file that no longer exists on the server.
• The Fix: Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, find the forum URL, and swipe left to delete it. This forces Safari to register a fresh Service Worker.

Many thanks for trying to sort things out, the switch on and off at the wall, and the bowl of rice tricks seem to have had an effect! Have been on the site this morning via i Pad and so far no bouncing back to the top of the page, and no constant refreshing of the page while typing this out!

Cheers hopefully stays that way. Suspect itll be a tad temperamental until its sorted properly.

Yeah I’ve had similar probs as others for last couple of weeks (on IOS devices). The above ‘Website Data’ fix has improved it a fair bit, probably reduced the errors by 70%. But still getting them, but less often than before the fix.

Having the same issues, tried the suggested fixes. No luck. It’s becoming impossible to browse the forum.

It has improved on my phone, but not completely. If I scroll over the slowest of speeds, posts don't load and then the page may crash.

….not as bad as it was for me, although slower than normal and the emoji options behind the ‘like’ button keep disappearing.

iOS and safari on iPad and phone are fine now for me.

Tho did have numerous problems last week, like others have stated.

Found browsing on private or using alternative browsers like opera/brave resolved the issues.
