Football really is run entirely for the casual, tv watching global audience now, isn't it? These "innovations" are more about entertaining people with zero attention span than they are about sport. Football is about a decade away from being scripted like the WWE! (Obviously not being serious about that last comment)

I'll always support Everton, but I can't cope with game being ruined. When Tarkowski scored in derby, I couldn't enjoy it that much because, I knew VAR would step in. Same with penalty against United, he gives us penalty then looks at wrong angle of incident, it's just stupid. Add to that unprofessional cringeworthy punditry, where they try to engage in top bantz.

Think Brighton home will be a sky game. Which hopefully rules out the 12.30 Saturday game. The 5.30pm would be good.

I'd hope they'd leave this as it is, a 1500 on Saturday. Please no 1230 jobby as that'll mean less time to sort out the inevitable chaos outside as people find their way around. A 1730 and everyone walking up to the ground from the city will be hammered after an afternoon hopefully in the sun and on the lash.

International tv audiences are where the money is, so yes, it is going to be aimed at them.
