Another Saturday 3pm gone

Sunderland is a sundayWe are, however much you moan about it, one of the two most desirable teams who aren't in Europe.
Naturally, in a freak year where 9 teams got into Europe, added to the expanded format of the CL & Europa, it may be something to expect more and more of.
8 rounds where 6 CL & 2 EL sides cant be MNF add to our early exit in the Cup, we are the prime target.
I do also wonder if the club are still working on aspects of the ground and an 8pm KO on a weekday suits them best? Wouldn't be totally shocked to see the Derby move to a Monday.
City, Liverpool, Chelsea still to come. I personally wouldn't be shocked if Sunderland remained our last Saturday 3pm of the season.
Fans wanted to have conformation of KO times and dates early so they could make arrangements to get to the games, instead we get conformation that some of the games KO and dates will be confirmed a couple of weeks before the game, which is what fans want to avoid.
Would like to see which teams have had the most Mon night & midweek PL games this season Home & Away (I bet its us).
Now they've started this there's no going back.
Used to enjoy when the weekend meant a full football programme.
What can you do?![]()
No doubt they’ve wanted the shiny new stadium ‘under the lights’ for Monday Night Football.Everyone gets the same midweek games. This year we've been given Bournemouth x 2, Nottingham Forest, Wolves & Burnley.
No one has had more MNF than us.

Well that reasoning doesn't fit my agendaTeams in Europe are hardly ever available for Monday nights.
Hence why us and United feature most
Nope it's a conspiracy by sky and PLNo doubt they’ve wanted the shiny new stadium ‘under the lights’ for Monday Night Football.
