Must admit we skit the yanks and Aussies,but usually when I have been abroad its our lot that make you cringe.

the one english stereotype that makes me laugh is the american tv and film one.
english adults are normally portrade as 30 something spivs , upperclass con men .
have you seen murder she wrote ? the bad guy is always the posh brit

then theres english kids , have you seen narnia or stormbringer ? those toffy nosed upper middle class little oinks are a classic american brit kid portrayal.
ive never met kids like that in my life !!!!!

my favourite brit (what i think is a real brit character) i would go with oliver reed. educated , wise , classy , raging drunk , party animal , bulldog , tough as old boots.
